The Cyprus Natural History Museum of the Photos Photiades Foundation steps beyond its walls to invite children into a unique, immersive exploration of Cyprus\u2019s natural world.<\/p>\n

Visitors will have the opportunity to take part in an interactive workshop where science meets play, and learning is transformed into meaningful action. Through short missions, engaging challenges, and creative activities, children will explore Cyprus\u2019s key ecosystems\u2014wetlands, forests, and marine environments\u2014while discovering both their beauty and their vulnerability.<\/p>\n

Throughout the experience, children are not merely observers; they become \u201cGuardians of Nature,\u201d making decisions, collaborating with others, and engaging in small missions that highlight the importance of environmental stewardship. By the end of the journey, each child leaves with a personal message and a meaningful commitment to care for the natural world around them.<\/p>\n

Station 1 \u2013 \u201cWhere Will You Live?\u201d (Wetlands)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Children explore the world of migratory birds and are invited to decide where it is safe to live. Through a simple interactive activity, they gain an understanding of how environmental changes, such as pollution and drought, affect wildlife, as well as the importance of wetland ecosystems.<\/p>\n

Station 2 \u2013 \u201cBreak the Web\u201d (Forest)<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this station, children create a \u201cweb of life\u201d and discover the relationships between plants, animals, and their environment. The activity demonstrates how disturbances, such as wildfire or human intervention, can disrupt ecological balance and highlights the interdependence of all living organisms.<\/p>\n

Station 3 \u2013 \u201cSave the Seabed\u201d (Marine Environment)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Children take part in a quick, hands-on challenge where they distinguish between what belongs and what does not belong in the marine environment. This activity raises awareness of marine pollution, particularly the impact of plastic waste on marine life.<\/p>\n<\/div>
