History of Computers & AI: From Abacus to AI
Through the use of exhibits, rolling videos and hands-on activities, visitors to our booth will be able to:
- have a text conversation with a girl their age who lived during the teachings of Hypatia the ancient mathematician
- learn how people performed multiplications 500 years ago using Napier Bones
- play an interactive game that teaches the history of personal computers and AI
- program on the BBC micro:bit their own “Scissors – Rock – Paper” game
