Educational Program:

“Wildlife – Predators, Prey & Nature’s Secrets” is an interactive educational program that explores the role of animals in ecosystems. Through live examples, children will discover the relationship between predators and prey, the adaptations of nocturnal animals, and the importance of biodiversity. Through questions, games, and participatory activities, they will understand how each animal contributes to nature’s balance and why environmental protection is crucial.

The program “When Cyprus Was Underwater – Fossils Speak!” takes participants millions of years back when Cyprus lay beneath an ancient ocean. Through fossilized shells, marls, and petrified trees, we will uncover how the Troodos mountain range was formed, how it rose from the ocean, and how climate changes shaped the island. A hands-on journey that reveals Cyprus’ geological past through its very own rocks!

“Secrets of the Rock – The Birth of Troodos!” is an interactive educational program that takes participants on a journey through the geological richness of Troodos. Using real rock samples, they will discover how the island was formed from an ancient ocean, how valuable minerals like chromite and picrolite impact our lives, and how rocks tell the story of the Earth. With hands-on experiments, geological puzzles, and discussions, participants will see the Earth… through its very own rocks!
